Contemporary medieval and renaissance garden design, St Hilary

In 2008 I was invited to submit a design for a garden located within the walls of a medieval courtyard and additional renaissance terrace. The garden enjoys a relatively open aspect with country views transected by a river to the west.


The clients are a busy professional couple, who have an interest in medieval history, historical building renovation and are knowledgeable about plants. They particularly enjoy plants with scent and colour.
