Our Garden Design Process?

At Design Outside, you the client are pivotal in our business. We therefore offer a client focused design processes which is supported by university training in design theory and horticultural knowledge gained over a number of years.

Stage 1

Initial Consultation: To meet with you, the client, at the proposed site to discuss your requirements and briefly inspect the site. Estimates for the design work are then drawn up and sent together with a proposal of work.

Stage 2

Design Proposals: Surface survey of site to include photographs, visual observations and orientation and site measurements. Provide and agree a concept design.

Stage 3

Detail Design: Once stage 2 is approved. Provide a scale plan, with planting plan and construction detailing. This is produced to enable the tendering and construction process to proceed.

Stage 4

Production Information: Nominate contractors, send invitations to tender, obtain tenders and produce a tender report.

Stage 5

Project Management: Contract administration and Site operations. To include all project administration including contracts and the monitoring of all works to completion.
